We are dedicated to providing neurodivergent affirming and trauma-informed care that honors each individual’s strengths, autonomy, and lived experiences. Our approach celebrates neurodiversity, fosters connection, and prioritizes emotional safety as the foundation for meaningful growth and learning.
Through collaboration, curiosity, and care, we aim to empower individuals and families to build skills, confidence, and joy — one step, one discovery, and one moment at a time.

I’m Erica Penko, the founder of Wonder Haven and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and empowering space for both clients and staff to flourish. Wonder Haven was built from a deeply personal place—my experience as a parent of a child who has benefited immensely from high-quality ABA services. Seeing firsthand how compassionate, ethical, and individualized care can change a family’s life inspired my commitment to offering that same success to others.
My vision for Wonder Haven is rooted in our core values: empathy, transparency, collaboration, and the highest standard of clinical excellence. I am dedicated to ensuring these values show up in every part of our practice—the way we deliver direct services, how we communicate with and support caregivers, and how we work together as a team.
I believe in leading with understanding, honoring each child’s voice and autonomy, and creating an environment where progress feels safe, meaningful, and achievable. My goal is for every family and every staff member to feel seen, supported, and confident as we work together to help children thrive in every aspect of their lives.

My name is Abigail Shaver, and I am a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician with nearly two years of hands-on experience supporting individuals through Applied Behavior Analysis.
Throughout my career, I have developed a strong passion for helping each person I work with grow, build confidence, and reach their fullest potential. My approach centers on compassion, respect, and evidence-based practice, ensuring that every individual receives meaningful, individualized support.
I am currently advancing my education in a BCBA graduate program, where I am expanding my knowledge of behavioral science, assessment, and ethical practice. My long-term goal is to continue making a positive impact in the field by providing high-quality, person-centered services and by uplifting others—whether clients, families, or colleagues—through encouragement, collaboration, and continuous learning.
I am committed to professional excellence, lifelong growth, and creating supportive environments where individuals can thrive. As I continue my journey toward becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, I hope to inspire others just as much as the individuals I serve have inspired me.

I am a Registered Behavior Technician with nearly four years of experience working with children with autism. Originally from Indiana, I have lived in Tennessee for the past six years. As a mother of three girls, I bring both professional experience and a parent’s perspective to my work, and I am passionate about supporting each child’s individual growth in a positive, encouraging environment. I am currently continuing my education toward becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), with the goal of providing compassionate, effective care to the families I serve.
